Outside the Box

Responding to the social shift away from the dependency on cars, this project reconsiders a parking garage in Austin, TX as a destination & not a prelude to a destination. Proposing the adaptive reuse of an existing prototypical garage within a downtown core, into a multi-use pedestrian, cultural complex including retail, market(s), studios and re-defines the typology of a gallery.
